Dear Fellow Wine Society Members and Friends,

Hard to believe that I am already starting my second year as President. I was nervous at the start of last year's tasting season but now I have a much better handle on all the things that go can wrong so I am looking forward to this season. The Executive Committee has worked together well and I owe them many thanks. We ended our 2010-2011 season with a terrific Spring Dinner at Aozora Restaurant in Montclair. We strive to achieve three main goals; Good Food, Good Wine, and above all, Good Camaraderie. Based on the laughter and clean plates two out of three were good! Getting everyone to agree on the wines, just as in our monthly tastings, is an impossible task. I think I can safely say that the Aozora cheesecake  and the South African, 2005 Klein Constantia, Vin De Constance were a memorable pair.

I am sending out this early newsletter to let you know about the events planned for the 2011-2012 season.. The dates have been confirmed with the Montclair Women's Club so please mark your calendars. The schedule for 2011-2012 is:
